Imagine a dilapidated school roof and some part of the building is falling apart. Its  roof weathered and worn, barely providing  any shelter from elements.  Cracks spider web across the ceiling, allowing rainwater to seep through freely, drenching the classroom below.

In the midst of a storm, the sound of rain hitting the battered roof competes with the teacher's voice, making it nearly impossible for eager young children minds to concentrate.  These children are determined to learn despite their circumstances, sit amidst puddles and drips, their textbooks, and notes books threatened by each droplet that falls from above.

Every gust of winds sends shivers down  their spines as their huddle together, seeking warmth and protection that their current surroundings fail to provide.  This isn't just a matter of Comfort. It is a matter of ensuring these children have a safe and conducive environment to receive the education they deserve.

Catholic World Mission  made a difference between a leaking  roof that hinders learning and sturdy. Shelter fosters growth and opportunity for these resilient young learners.

The Catholic World Mission made this happen. This project was singly don by the Catholic World Mission in Enugu State Nigeria and children was happy seeing their school with such a beautiful look again and can now study in conducive environment.
